Riffle Splitters

Riffle Splitters are used primarily in the laboratory to give a 50-50 split of dry, flowable solids. Lab riffle splitters are suitable for splitting solids 2" and finer. The highest sample accuracy is obtained when the sample to be split is crushed before splitting. Ideally, the sample should be at least -10 mesh and finer. This will generally increase the probability of having a truly representative sample.
